Hullo! This is Bloodthirst, a shrine to Scourge of the best-selling book series Warriors by Erin Hunter. <3
If you'd like to be my affie, gotta comment, or whatever, drop me a line. :3

The Basics
Scourge's only appearence in the final book of Warriors, The Darkest Hour. He is described to be a black cat with a white paw that's on the small side. Despite his appearence, Scourge is a ruthless and bloodthirsty (duh) killer, as displayed on his collar, on which he has studded the teeth of his defeated enemies.
Scourge is the leader of BloodClan, which is not exactly a Clan. It is not a part of the Forest Clans, and Scourge's total lack of beleif in StarClan eliminates all traits of a true Clan.
On his claws Scourge has attached canine teeth, enchancing his killing abilities. With this, he is able to kill a cat with one swipe.
Scourge's eye color is often debated over by fans. I'm pretty confident it never mentions the color of his eyes, but many claim them to be icy-blue. Ice would be realistic, adding to the kitten-look Scourge has. However, on the Russian cover for The Darkest Hour, Scourge's eyes are a yellow-green.
I read The Darkest Hour a few years ago, and I really liked the idea of the BloodClan cats. I found Scourge a great character and villain, even if he only lived for one book. <3

Behind the Name
From Dictionary.com...
scourge
noun, verb scourged, scourg?ing
-noun
1. a whip or lash, esp. for the infliction of punishment or torture.
2. a person or thing that applies or administers punishment or severe criticism.
3. a cause of affliction or calamity: Disease and famine are scourges of humanity.
-verb (used with object)
4. to whip with a scourge; lash.
5. to punish, chastise, or critizine severly.
Makes sense, considering all the pain Scourge can enflict someone with. ^^

Spoilers!
When TigerClan, ThunderClan, WindClan, and BloodClan meet at Fourtrees Tigerstar orders the BloodClan warriors to attack ThunderClan and WindClan. The cats don't budge. Scourge reminds Tigerstar that BloodClan only follow his commands. Firestar asks if he may explain to BloodClan just who Tigerstar is. BloodClan listens patiently, and at the end of the ThunderClan's leader speech decides to head off for home. Tigerstar is angered for Scourge not fighting, and in rage leaps at him. Thus, the BloodClan leader extends his claw that are enhanced with long canine teeth. The blow opens Tigerstar's throat. The strike kills him, and then eight times more. Scourge announces that his Clan will fight the cats for the forest in three days. When the day arrives the Clans fight bravely, and Scourge evens kills one of Firestar's lives. As his next life forms in him, Firestar is gifted the powers of StarClan. With heaven's assistance, Firestar is able to kill Scourge. The BloodClan cats flee, their deadly leader defeated. Peace is restored.
